Charlie Caranicas

Charlie Caranicas - Trumpet:  Trumpeter Charlie Caranicas was with the Rainbow Room Orchestra for five years, and led the house band at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City for over two years.

Charlie has performed on over a dozen CDs, including one of his own, entitled Green Chimneys.

He has performed with many first-rate bands, including Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, the Louis Armstrong Centennial Band, the Flying Neutrinos, the Vanguard Orchestra, the Chico O’Farrill Afro Cuban Jazz Orchestra, the Onyx Club Sextet, the Tom Cats, Tom Roberts and the Incomparables, Dan Levinson’s Roof Garden Jass Band and for numerous shows on Broadway. He has also received a National Endowment for the Arts Grant.
