Bob Sundstrom

Bob Sundstrom:  Banjo - Bob was raised in Chicago. His first major outing as a musician was with the Gold Coast Jazz Band that toured with Phyllis Diller in 1961.

He later spent many years with the Original Salty Dogs Jazz Band, until moving to New England in 1969.

A Rhode Island resident, Bob now plays with the Yankee Rhythm Kings of Boston and plays ”second chair” banjo with the New Black Eagles and the Wolverine Jazz Band. He also leads his own group, the Commonwealth Jazz Band.
