Chicago Rhythm
(Recorded November 2000 and January 2001)
This time in the studio, the IHJB had the honor and privilege of
bringing in three major names in classic jazz to join them --
trumpeter Duke Heitger, bass maestro Vince Giordano, and
Chicago-area trombone legend Jim Beebe. It contains a variety of
tasty jazz tunes -- some comfortably familiar, some dusted off,
plus another original from Doug, two vocal tracks and Morning
Air, a marvelous piano solo from Paul Asaro.
Songs: Copenhagen, Skid Dat De Dat, Chicago Rhythm,
Cheryl, I'm Getting Sentimental Over You, Waitin' For Katy,
Harlem Blues, Kansas City Stomp, Tishomingo Blues, Morning Air,
St. James Infirmary Blues, Ole Miss, Davenport Blues, When My
Dreamboat Comes Home
