Hot Sweet & Blue is the first CD by the Independence Hall Jazz
Band. With 16 tracks and a total of 71 minutes of playing time,
the album includes tunes by Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton,
Fats Waller, Hoagy Carmichael, Walter Donaldson, a couple of
originals and some old time favorites.
The band features the enormous talents of an earlier personnel,
including leader and trombonist Doug Finke, Jon-Erik Kellso on
cornet, Orange Kellin on clarinet, Tom Roberts on piano, Stephen
DiBonaventura on banjo, Pete Reichlin on tuba and Rob Garcia on
drums.
